BioGenes BlueCap Buffer solutions are highly suitable for your applications such as in vitro diagnostics, food diagnostics, veterinary diagnostics, life sciences and manufacturing in GLP-conform laboratories. BlueCap Buffers are used during BioGenes Assay Development. To facilitate the method transfer to our customers we highly recommend to use BlueCap Buffer solutions to ensure assay stability and conformity as developed in our laboratories.
Of special importance is BioGenes’ BSA-free blocking solution (BlueCap CleverBlock) for compliance with US-compatibility of product import. All projects involving custom ELISA development avoid usage of buffers containing BSA or casein hydrolysate for optimized assay conditions.
In compliance with the European Chemicals Agency Authorisation List, as amended on the Annex XIV of the EC No 1907/2006, BioGenes BlueCap Buffers do not contain TRITON X-100. Thus, where usage of detergent is inevitable, BlueCap Buffer solutions contain TWEEN 20.

Assay diluents are designed to effectively lower cross reactivities, unspecific binding and matrix effects in your assays. They are well-suited all-rounders for a multitude of assays such as ELISA, IAE, Western blotting, immuno-PCR, protein arrays, multianalyte immunoassays and immunohistochemistry approaches.
Stabilizers are necessary to preserve the activity of sensitive biologicals used in immunoassays. BlueCap stabilizers are ideal to help protecting your proteins, antibodies and conjugates (e.g. HRP-labelled or AP-labelled), as well as antigens, either in solubilized form or being coated onto the surface of microtiter plates, and others. They are routinely used for production of our commercial ELISA kits.
Blocking solutions are used to saturate free binding capacities of surfaces like ELISA plates or Western blotting membranes. We especially recommend efficient blocking to obtain reproducible assay results and to reduce false-positives due to undesired background signals.
Washing solutions are supplied as a 10x concentrate and are used for washing of ELISA microtiter plates to remove excess assay reagents while being gentle to plate-bound components. Take advantage of our high lot-to-lot consistency for your reliable assay handling.
