Immunization of Goats/Sheep using Proteins – 42-Day Protocol

  • Required amount of antigen: at least 11 mg at ~5 mg/mL

  • Immunization of one goat/sheep using a 42-day protocol

  • Delivery of pre-immune serum and approx. 100 mL antiserum

  • Quality control of the antiserum using ELISA, if antigen is suitable 

  • The animal will be kept after delivery of the antiserum

Immunization of Goats/Sheep using Proteins – 105-Day Protocol

  • Required amount of antigen: 21 mg protein per goat/sheep at ~5 mg/mL

  • Immunization of one or two goats/sheep using a 105-day protocol

  • Delivery of pre-immune serum and approx. 400 mL antiserum per goat/sheep

  • Quality control of the antiserum using ELISA, if antigen is suitable

  • The animal will be kept after delivery of the antiserum
